POSTAGE & PACKING Shipping costs vary to each country. You can always send us your inquiry by fax, phone, e-mail and we will reply with exact amount payable. Orders will only be despatched on receipt of full payment. Any import duties/charges levied by Customs Authorities, on export orders, are payable by customer
Parcels are not insured. After despatch any loss sustained during transit is at customers own risk. Customers must request us to take out insurance on any parcels, which will be charged / shown on the invoice. Postal-receipts cannot be obtained for packages posted in a mailbox. Non-receipt of orders posted in a mailbox is always at customer's risk, as we do not have any proof of despatch. We recommend courier delivery as proof of despatch always exists
Our prices quoted are correct at the time of going to press but cannot be guaranteed for the duration of our catalogs. We therefore reserve the right to change prices without notice. Special offers can be withdrawn without notice
Stock items are despatched immediately. Items not in stock take longer and may be sent separately, as the vast exhaustive range of items particularly in drills, reamers, milling cutters may be out of stock or even discontinued. This is due to low demand & need to be specially manufactured.  Any item not in stock will be advised and/or cancelled. Any shortages must be informed to us within 7 days of receipt
Payment with order ( unless 30 day maximum credit terms agreed with dealers ). Orders will be withheld until full payment is made. Retention-of-Title rests with us until full payment is received and cleared. All goods invoiced by the Company remain the property of the company until such time that they have been paid for in full..
Save for liability which would be unlawful to exclude, our obligation to refund the purchase price or replace the product shall constitute the full extent of our liability in respect of any loss or damage sustained by any customer, whether caused by breach of contract, negligence or by misrepresentation. We will not be liable for any consequential, economic, direct or indirect loss suffered by any customer
Prices do not include postage or VAT. Payment may be made by UK cheque, postal order, bankers draft (payable in GBP clearly showing a name/address of a UK bank on the draft to enable clear the draft in UK). Also Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Switch or Access are accepted but a bank-charge of upto 3% may apply to all Credit Card transactions. Payments to: The Tap & Die Co.
 Our secure online ordering uses a securely encripted and hacker-safe check-out system - powered by Globecharge, to ensure security in 128 bit SSL environment. Our Credit Card Transactions are processed through Barclaycard PDQ terminal. Payments by Credit Card over the Internet is at customers own risk, as it is insecure. We cannot be liable for interception by hackers over the Internet. You can alternatively fax or phone us your Credit Card details, which we recommend. This way you will be certain of safe receipt of payment only by us
We must always be informed of the reasons by fax or e-mail, prior to any items returned for refund, credit or exchange and must be accompanied with a copy of our sales invoice. This must be received within 7 days of goods received by you. Postage/other costs incurred will not be credited and a 15% handling charge will be implemented. - Goods returned through no fault of ours will only be accepted at the discretion of the company. Customers to safely return goods to our door at customers cost - Our goods are all industrial/specialised tools, specially made-to-order and to be treated in law as specially manufactured to customers specification. Goods are held in stock by us purely for quick delivery to individual or industry and deemed always to be sold as Business to Business contract
GENERAL We have tried to ensure that descriptions of our detailed tooling sizes and types are correct. If any customer should think that there is any misrepresentation whatsoever or if they can make any improvements to our information or tool range, will they please advise us so that the matter can be dealt with/amended. - For customers to be certain about product-dimensions shown on our website, we suggest contacting us before ordering. We can then actually measure/check the tools required. In this way customers can be certain about the product dimensions/details shown on website, as occassionally dimensions vary - We reserve the right to revise prices, limit quantities, correct printing/price errors and refuse orders. These terms apply to all customers, as offered for over 30 years. All orders are supplied on the understanding that every customer has read these terms and conditions of sale and agreed to them in full, before placing any orders on us.
